Are you nervous about hiring a contractor for your hardscape needs? At Trails End Hardscapes we believe in a no pressure sales process. Here's what to expect:
Call (970.223.5883) or email us (info@trailsendhardscapes.com) to schedule your complimentary evaluation. At this time we will ask you for basic information about your project and email you a short questionnaire to help us understand your priorities. If at all possible we choose to use email as part of our recycle and reduce philosophy.
Plan for anywhere between 30 to 60 minutes for this appointment. At this time we will discuss the full scope of your project including size, shape, purpose and budget. If you already have plans great! We would be happy to price those. No plans? No problem. We can help guide you through the design process.
We will take all of this information and put together a detailed proposal which you will receive by email within 48 hours. Every project is unique in it's own ways and because of this we price every project based on these qualities. We can leave you job looking like we were never there or if you enjoy landscaping we can leave that up to you. All of these little things can change the price of a project considerably. So when you are looking over your proposal remember there are many possibilities.
This is the time to make any changes to your project so that we can present you with a final price. Once you receive a final price Trails End will never exceed that price unless you would like things to be changed. This will require a signed 'change order' explaining scope of change and price increase.
Once we have agreed upon a final price, we will require a signed contract and 50% deposit.
Depending on the size of your project Trails End usually schedules out 4-6 weeks from time of contract signing. Scheduling is one of the hardest things to predict. Please be aware that the start date we give is just an estimate. We will contact you approximately one week before starting your project so that you can plan accordingly.
This is when the fun begins and your project really comes to life. We use specialized equipment to move the large amounts of material required to install your project correctly; this at times can cause dust and noise. We ask that you please keep all windows and doors closed and children and pets at a safe watching distance.
We will let you know how your project is progressing and at the end of each day we will clean up so you can enjoy your evenings without a mess.
Once your job is completed we will do a final walk-through to explain the ins and outs of your new hardscape and answer any questions you might have.
Now it is time to enjoy your new hardscape!
